I have a big head and little arms I'm not sure how well this plan was thought through.

footnote¹¹ :
Why didn't they just evolve bigger heads but keep their arms as-is? There must have been some positive selective pressure for smaller arms, but what was it?

Meet the Robinsons is one of the most underrated Disney movies ever. and that scene with the T-Rex is one of the top scenes, I repeat it all the time, and most people just stare at me with no clue.

I saw this idea proposed a while ago. The explanation for the choice of large arms or large heads is driven by the fact that the neck muscles and arm muscles compete for the same attachment points in the collar region.

I have seen this headline all week. and every content creator is doing what your doing and making longer videos with lots of explanation. it's so annoying. just say what it is then elaborate. I'll be skipping your content

Next question, was it the arms getting smaller or the rest of the dinosaur getting larger, and the arms staying the same size??? Also, I don’t think this plan was very well thought out…

I’m sorry but is this a surprise given that avian dinosaurs developed arms that are useless for almost anything but locomotion? Like their arms are so useful, but not for anything that has to do with touching things. Is it a far cry that another kind of dinosaur should also stop relying on their arms touching things?
