You buried the lead. They’re going to a concert…that you said no to. If you expect them to do a minute by minute double check if you’re free earlier in the night, that’s exhausting. You said you can’t go or are busy for the concert so why would they assume you’re selectively free? You need to communicate that if it matters this much to you.

I would’ve still invited you to the restaurant. As far as the group chat, I personally would make a separate group chat without you discussing the concert because it feels weird to talk about plans in a group chat with a person that isn’t interested in going.
