I can’t believe I just came across this. My 6m old son had this weird rash all over his body , noticed it when I bathed him. My dog licked his face and I think got a little of his mouth like 30 mins before , this could be the same issue for us!!!😳

this has happened with my baby! he's had histamine reactions now to both of our dogs licking (even though he's otherwise been around them since birth but the licking is newer since he's slightly bigger) and randomly to a new oatmeal brand even though he's fine with other oatmeal. little raised whitefish dots with red circles kinda around them. they last about a half hour then die down. Obviously listen to your doc, I know every baby is different, but for peace of mind if it helps when we went to our doc he literally was like. yup he's just a sensitive guy. If he goes away under an hour, doesn't cause puffy red eyes, no breathing issues, it's just topical sensitivity and it goes away with both exposure and time.

Hey! I used to be allergic to cats, even if there was a cat in the room I would break out in red patches also, we now have a cat and I’ve built up a tolerance to him! So fingers crossed baby builds her tolerance to your dog 🥰

Hey I have 3 girls and all 3 as babies had the same reaction when licked by our dog that you have mentioned. Just wanted to give you our experience that my girls grew out of it and now no reaction to it at all so fingers crossed for you that she may grow out of it and become immune to it!😊
