It’s actually illegal to remove the paint markings. If the contractor hits an underground utility line because you removed the markings you will be held responsible.

Well for one, it’s not even the fiber company that planted those lines. 2, it’s their right to do what they want on the ROW. & 3, it’s illegal to remove the markers they put out until they’re done with their work.

The sidewalk is technically city/public property. If the city wants to spray permanent paint on it, they have every right to do so.

yeah they aren't supposed to use chalk paint, it's always permanent spray paint, it's even required
