I had a difficult time grasping what love bombing looked like and this really helped: when they push for emotional intimacy, making promises of commitment or overloading on affection before trust is built.

The difference between love bombing and just being treated nice is either manipulation, a substitute/implication of intimacy or going beyond what strangers (even if dating) would do for eachother

guys don't use up all your good date ideas too early. also it's fun to spend money on a new girl but you probably can't keep that level of spending consistent so you know, don't set expectations too high or you'll get accused of lovebombing lol

i have an ex who scores high on the covert narcissist traits, so like, he has all of them. but he never lovebombed me. he acted just like a normal boyfriend would have. i did already see signs of him being extremely frugal and cheap but we met during a covid lockdown so there weren't many options to go out and plan dates anyway. i thought hmm nice way to save money for when everything is normal and we can go to a restaurant. but it just never happened 😂
