@cbsnews: Incumbent Republican Senator John Cornyn conceded his primary race to his opponent, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, Tuesday night wrapping up the most expensive primary race in American history. “After a public service career lasting more than four decades and 18 consecutive campaign wins, tonight we've come up short in this primary runoff,” he said. Paxton will face the Democratic nominee, state Rep. James Talarico, in November. #texas #johncornyn #republican #politics #gop
