Happened to me! Worked at a prestigious university for 15 years. They promoted me to ‘Clerk’, same responsibilities plus an entire other full time position to uphold. And the pay raise was $1.00 an hour! From the day I started to the day I quit in 15 years I was only making $5 more dollars than when I started. I left and started my own insurance company! Making 3 times more! Girl BYE!✌🏻
