The problem is he is tall but no body mass. He can’t hold up down there against Hartenstien. He’s getting pushed out and he is tired which is why he is missing shots. He needs to get stronger. So he doesn’t spend so much energy trying to stay down low.

this shi has to be staged. nba coaching staff and it takes a game or two to realize wemby should be rim running and staying on the paint. the games the spurs lost he wasn’t doing that. why change something that’s been working. straight off of game 1, each game should’ve been played like that.

Yes. I’m screaming the whole game. I’ve watched them all year. They have moments where he completely disappears and the spurs don’t adjust. It’s been happening all year. It’s not new. I don’t get it at all. Frustrating.

I put that on coaching… also being that he’s 7’5” using him as a guard is also burning him out physically… at his size his energy level and sustainability doesn’t match a 6’6” guard… he needs post ups where he can use his size. The cutting and dribbling is wearing him down… if I’m coaching him I would run post and mid post scenarios. No more playing at the top of the key please… that’s where he easiest to guard
