@fin_stabilized_heat_: The FGM-148 Javelin is a portable American anti-tank guided missile system designed to destroy armored vehicles, bunkers, and fortified positions. Introduced in the 1990s, the Javelin is operated by a two-person team and uses a “fire-and-forget” guidance system. After launch, the missile automatically tracks its target using an infrared seeker, allowing the operator to take cover or reposition immediately. One of its most important features is its top-attack mode, where the missile climbs after launch and strikes the thinner armor on the top of tanks. It can also use a direct-attack mode against helicopters, buildings, or fortified positions. The Javelin became widely known for its effectiveness against modern armored vehicles and has been used extensively in conflicts such as Iraq and Ukraine. Its combination of portability, advanced guidance, and high armor penetration makes it one of the most capable infantry anti-tank weapons in service. #fyp #Tech #edit #militaryedit #warthunder
