#حسد کا مفہوم کسی دوسرے شخص کے پاس موجود کسی دینی یا دنیاوی نعمت، خوبی یا کامیابی کو دیکھ کر یہ دل میں تمنا کرنا کہ وہ نعمت اس سے چھن جائے یا ختم ہو جائے۔#حسد کی بنیادی باتیںنعمت کا زوال: حاسد (حسد کرنے والا) یہ چاہتا ہے کہ سامنے والے سے وہ خوبی یا مال و دولت زوال پذیر ہو جائے، خواہ وہ نعمت خود حاسد کو ملے یا نہ ملے#حسد اور رشک میں فرق: رشک میں کسی کی خوبی کو دیکھ کر خوش ہونا اور بغیر کسی کا نقصان چاہے خود بھی ویسی نعمت حاصل کرنے کی کوشش کرنا شامل ہے، جبکہ حسد میں دوسرے کے نقصان کی آرزو ہوتی ہے#مہلک بیماری: اسلامی تعلیمات میں حسد کو دل کی ایک خطرناک روحانی بیماری قرار دیا گیا ہے جو انسان کے سکون کو برباد کر دیتی ہے#نیکیوں کا زوال: احادیث کے مطابق حسد انسان کی نیکیوں کو اس طرح ختم کر دیتا ہے جیسے آگ لکڑی کو جلا دیتی ہے
