I've been hearing that a lot of companies are using AI to sift through the applications and they have specific criteria that automatically makes you get denied. So I'm wondering, if maybe being Hispanic was one of those criteria they added to deny immediately.

As messed up as it sounds when I was a manager at a certain dollar themed location we had a quota we had to keep. A certain percentage women and certain percentage non white. It was terrible

The sad part is that thanks to the inflation in our economy. A lot of these managers and owners of these companies and jobs. Don’t wanna hire new employees because the minimum wage is going up training is going up and it’s just less money in their pocket. Which they seem to not be able to afford. Getting a job right now is like finding that needle in a haystack.
