my sister had this conversation with me today. she’s 6 1/2 years older than me, she’s getting her masters while im starting my last year of highschool. she told me that, if she hadn’t settled down already, she would move to new york for a month and leave whenever home for someplace new whenever possible. she encouraged me to follow my dream and to never be stupid, but to always do the things i want to do because having regret is never worth being comfortable. so yes, i think i will apply for the college i want to across the country, i will go on that road trip, and I will chase every sunset I think is pretty. because I’d rather do it scared then never do it at all.
