As soon as I heard the “reason” for arrest was “resisting arrest” because of him not giving an ID I knew this officer was cooked. You can’t resist arrest if you aren’t being arrested. It’s quite litteraly in the definition you need to be resisting ARREST.

This happened May of last year, officer was fired and charges were dropped on the kid. Not sure if they sued but I believe they are in the process.
