I use Duolingo to learn Norwegian and it is very useful for grammar and vocabulary. I listen to Norwegian music and read other sources but Duolingo has given me the ability to do that.

What about Duolingo Max? Or only decent for intermediate learners wanting variety, but the AI conversations are short and scripted.

this is exactly what I thought for my app in using to learn Slovenian and I explained this to my husband who is fluent.its teaching me such random low frequency sentences and words that it makes zero sense and I'm not learning anything just memorising random stuff

And it doesn’t even teach you the new words it just keeps you guessing when they introduce things and they FAIL HARD at grammar
