I actually had the opposite happen to me while working at Bob's Big Boy in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. A customer wanted wet scrambled eggs so I made them runny. He sent them back, Twice. So I mixed up a third batch and poured them into a coffee cup and sent them out. My manager was Not amused.

It's so funny when it's drip coffee or an americano. Can you get it extra hot? Literally no. Even if I wanted to, it's already being dispensed at a temperature beyond the highest automatic safety cutoff on the steam wand
