I realized some years ago that I get irritated when people (mostly family) ask me for things, help or such. I realized it's because I feel like I HAVE to help, I can't say no and at the same time I have such a hard time to ask for help. When I understood how this made me feel, I stopped. I still feel bad as I say no, but in the end it makes me feel less stressed.

Literally hit my burnout 2 months ago. Existential crisis 3 years ago. Literally what is said, spent most my life for everyone else, not having a clue who I am. Eldest daughter, empathic people pleaser with 2 emotionally immature parents. So tired.

I'm not sure if it's just me but the audio is very broken! but I 100% agree. I have realised in one of my relationships (I am poly!) I have such a 'must be needed' mindset because I've allowed societal Norms to bleed into our relationship. and it's so interesting having it framed like this. thank you! 💜
