I don’t understand how this Chinese makeover TV show work. Do the homeowners give them a fixed budget? I’m pretty sure they always exceed this budget. Don’t the show have sponsors and advertisers that help out? What does the show give them, just the free design consult ? I really like their makeovers though. Better than most of the US home makeover shows I’ve seen where they try hard to give the designers big and flamboyant personalities and create drama (oh no..we are running late and over budget! Oh no a delivery or supplier mishap! 🙄 I like these no nonsense Chinese videos way better. You don’t need to see the designers personality..you see their work, and they’re awesome!
