I'd like to see the mic specs on that rotors limits compared to what it got cut down to! I turned rotors back in 1989 for a living. Those grooves were deep on the face of the rotor.

A rotor that thin will not dissipate the heat from the friction. If the pads wear significantly the piston could pop out of the caliper. Minimum is stamped on the rotor.

The left side of that rotor looks super thin. After seeing how much the guy cut into it with the pad, the first time, I’d be leery about using that rotor again after you cut it like that.

That rotor is way below minimums. With such a heavy vehicle, the heat generated will cause the rotor to warp. VERY UNSAFE. Also, allowing the caliper to hang by the brake line causes stress on the line.

because it is. outside edge half as thick as inside edge. most modern specs call for so little runout you cannot resurface and stay in specs. you aren't saving money anyway, just put new ones on
