Grandma Lily (DaoReung) is quietly exploring her new home. She is an especially sweet, gentle, and chatty elephant. When she’s hungry, she uses her voice to politely ask for food. 💚 She can now only eat soft foods. We offered her leaves and bamboo, but she is no longer able to chew them comfortably. Her blood test results came back very good, which is reassuring. When she first arrived, we noticed a slight swelling under her belly. Our vet is closely monitoring her condition, and with plenty of rest, it is expected to continue improving. For now, we’re giving Grandma Lily time to rest and adjust before introducing her to more friends. Her former owner told us she didn’t really like baby elephants, but yesterday, during her walk to the river, she stopped to greet several young elephants along the way. And trust us—our little ones are experts at winning hearts, especially Namthip. 🥰 With a heart this gentle, it won’t be long before Grandma Lily finds her herd. Let’s wait and see which herd she chooses. ยายลิลลี่ (ดาวเรือง) กำลังเดินสำรวจบ้านหลังใหม่ ยายน่ารักมาก นิสัยดี เป็นช้างชอบคุย เวลาหิว ใช้เสียงขอกินอาหาร ยายกินได้เฉพาะอาหารอ่อน พวกเราเอาใบไม้ใบไผ่มาให้ยายแต่เธอเคี้ยวไม่ได้แล้ว คุณหมอเอาเลือดไปตรวจ ผลเลือดออกมาดีมาก วันที่มาพวกเราสังเกตเห็นว่าใต้ท้องของยายมีอาการบวมน้ำเล็กน้อยตอนนี้คุณหมอดูอาการอยู่ค่ะ ถ้ายายได้พักผ่อนเพียงพออาการนั้นก็จะดีขึ้น ให้ยายพักและปรับตัวสักหน่อยแล้วค่อยแนะนำยายให้กับเพื่อนๆ เจ้าของเก่าบอกว่ายายไม่ค่อยชอบช้างเด็ก เมื่อวานตอนยายเดินไปแม่น้ำ ยายแวะทักทาย ช้างหลายตัว แต่เชื่อเถอะ เด็กๆของเราที่นี่เก่งในการเอาชนะใจยายช้างโดยเฉพาะน้องน้ำทิพย์ ยายน่ารักอย่างนี้ อีกไม่นานยายได้โขลงแน่นอน เรามาช่วยกันลุ้นค่ะ ว่ายายจะไปอยู่กลุ่มไหน #Lily #SaveElephantFoundation #มูลนิธิอนุรักษ์ช้างและสิ่งแวดล้อม #Elephant #ElephantRescue
