my entire family were Drs. My gpa PREACHED that it wasn't worth it. 5 gens in and none of us went into medicine at all. very sad 😢

thank you for shedding light on this!! such an important issue. corporations are making it unbearable to be a doctor. AND now you can't take more than $200k of federal student loans out. so you have to take out private loans if you're poor. we're only going to have rich people going to med school now. that will reduce quality of care. i don't think I would have completed med school if I couldn't take out all my federal loans. i finished school 3 years ago and my debt is already up from $240k to $263k. it would be so much worse if I had private loans

The “Inbox” requires a tremendous amount of time and that’s basically volunteer work, because it’s not billable. In primary care it takes 1-3bhpurs per day to do refills, messages, etc.
