Or… you can just build a fresh air vent intake at the base of the firebox 🙄. That way hot air rises and is replaced by cooler air at the base, which then heats as it passes the fire and pushes up and out the chimney. This prevents downdrafts and also minimizes smoke and provides a cleaner burn of your wood 👍
