If it’s recommended for babies to sleep on their back & they need at least 14-17 hours of sleep a day, how can you avoid flattening in the back? My baby has mild flattening in the back which I feel guilty about but all I’ve ever done is follow safe sleep guidelines.

My baby has had a flat spot on the right side of his head since he was 2 months old (we just turned 4 months) we have done EVERYTHING to try and correct it 😭 we do neck stretches tons of tummy time, I turn his head to the left when he’s sleeping multiple times a night, and I massage the flat side while he is eating and sucking, we have done all the neck stretches and he looks to the left great now but still prefers his right. I am completely at a loss on what to do 😭

my baby had very bad torticollis at birth, he’s 6 months now and it’s gotten sooo much better but still not perfect. hopefully the older he gets the better bc i am stressed

also learned this morning at the pediatrician - if you look at their head top down, their ears should be in the same position, not one more forward or backward than the other

I just took mine to the chiropractor one time and I see a big difference. She couldn’t/wouldn’t turn left started from birth. But after 3m of trying to get her to turn I decided to go and It worked great.

What if there's slight, equal flattening on both sides? Mentioned it to two different pediatricians at three different appointments but they aren't concerned about the shape.

My baby was born with a longer narrow head & I was told it would grow normal but it hasn’t, although it’s got better it hasn’t fully got to where i would say it should be. He is 7 weeks now. They said it was because he was cephalic from early on.
