i think i've used them both ever since i started studying english at uni. my whole second year course was based on studying the differences between many varieties of english and my professor considers both SAE and SBE spelling correct, as long as you know the difference when asked

I’ve been using both my whole life for writing. But, largely American for speaking even though was taught British in school.

I mostly use American English, but I will always double the final "l" in regular past tense, I for sure will write "travelled" instead of "traveled"

Both. Depends on where I am. Most schools in Thailand are using the British English but Philippines uses the American English. 😅
