It was insane like harry potter fandom. Naruto had like 4 different big forums. It was THE anime. No other anime came close to being known back then. Cosplay cons etc were filled with naruto . It was insane

By what my sister told me, nothing really changed. Everyone was still toxic and argued over which character is better and which ship is better 😭 The only thing that changed were the trends but that happened with every fandom since it's like a technology improvement thingy
