Most of the Countries in the Americas are younger than this. Why bring the US into it? Technically Nigeria didn't gain independence until the 1960s. By your weird metric, this is older than Nigeria. Also the US had civilizations on this land prior to being colonized. There a burial mounds older than stonehenge.
