Hijab isn’t for men, you people keep trying to find a reason to hate on Islam and Muslims. The hijab is to first of all, Show off that you’re a Muslim to everybody else, so another fellow Muslim recognises you, and secondly hide your body to protect yourself for all kinds of reasons. Another thing, men also have a similar thing to hijab just in another way which many don’t even talk about because there so much false information spread about Islam more than good

Its not patriarchal.. For many reasons but I will just state that we women actually have a hijab for other women too and by that I mean we cant show other women our whole body too. Half of the arms, the stomach and half of the legs (cant explain very well) Its got to do with modesty and to not create those beauty standards and jealousies we have nowadays in our society and the full hijab is about preserving yourself from male’s lust, and lust is normal because thats how we reproduce. Male are attracted by outer beauty first and women by inner beauty first (which is mentioned in the quran I believe) that is why we should as women preserve ourselves and also why men were ordered to be good, soft caretakers of their women (wife and sisters and mom…)… It is a protection of male gaze/ male lust (biological btw) and from evil eye/jealousy and judgement. We believe the outer beauty is not what makes a person. Wearing the hijab and becoming nothing but who you truly are on the inside is one of the most powerful and beautiful things ever.
