@offenceregister: DARREN MOORE ELY PAEDOPHILE SEX OFFENDER Introduction A highly dangerous digital predator from Ely who callously launched a serial campaign of online grooming—luring a fourteen-year-old schoolboy to his flat via the train network to sexually abuse him—has been jailed. 57-year-old Darren Moore was completely unmasked following an intensive public protection inquiry. The Offences and Trial Details Moore operated from his residential flat on Market Street, executing a calculated sequence of digital and physical violations in early twenty-twenty-four. The predator non-compliantly sent explicit photos and sick messages to the teenager, deliberately exploiting his minor status before luring him onto a train directly after school hours. Sentences and Court Orders Dragged before Peterborough Crown Court, the monster's defence scripts were completely shattered, and the judiciary handed down an immediate ten-year prison sentence. For his cruel actions, he was stripped of his unmonitored freedom, thrown behind secure bars, and ordered to comply with sex offenders register requirements for life. Investigation and Impact The intensive investigation by Cambridgeshire Constabulary exploded after the victim's mother filed a missing person report, prompting the brave teenager to expose the abuse. Officer Dan Knight slammed his total abandonment of human decency, allowing public protection units to enforce lifetime registry arrays to guarantee absolute public safety.
