I almost didn’t post this. Then I remembered: this speech was about learning to take up space. New followers, this might be the most honest introduction I can give you. Instead of a polished introduction, here’s me nervous, speaking from the heart, and trying not to go over 6,5 minutes. First Toastmasters speech done. I was nervous, my speech was getting close to the 6,5-minute mark, and I had to rearrange parts of it while speaking. But I kept going. This was my Ice Breaker speech: “Many Lives, One Me.” Not perfect, but real. And somehow… I got Best Speaker. A reminder that sometimes starting before feeling ready is exactly the point.
