I'm not in the same situation as you, but with other things, I definitely do the same thing where I explain things upfront. I would say if that brings you peace to talk about it and let them know where you stand, then that's great! But if you're doing it because you think you "owe" that to people, then don't because you don't owe them an explanation... if that makes sense 😊

No it’s not, it’s their discomfort… not yours/ours :) I used to overcompensate and constantly ’ice break’ but now I don’t bother…I let people take me as I am, if they’re not comfortable that’s on THEM ! ❤️
