Am I the only one who liked the path they took with Cara? Yes, book Cara never said this, but she also never consumed drugs or let herself truly process everything. I really think it's more realistic for her to be angry and coping the way she can. In the end, she explained that it felt easier to blame Pip because she was the only one Cara has left. She loves her like a sister, no matter what

cara had a reason to be mad like her dad deserved to be in prison but should still had the right to be mad at pip about it but i think they shouldn’t of made it so they didn’t talk basically all season cara deserved way more screen time she’s such a good actor

What I liked about this change was that they show a lot how difficult it is for her to overcome and face his father's case since in the book they did not show or did not see so much the complexity of the character of cara and how he is carrying his father's situation.

It always pisses me off in detectives when the investigator gets blamed for "bringing old stuff up" and "ruining people's lives" and I was really happy that Cara understood how Pip wasn't the one in the wrong and she did what she had to
