First I saw the music video and cried just from hearing your voice, the emotion you put into the song, and the visuals. Then I listened to the song while reading the lyrics and cried again... that tragic day, that loneliness, that pain of losing your parents, so young and alone, with no one to help you, that darkness you had to go through is hard... my story can't compare because I only lost my father to an illness when I was 23. It was a very hard blow, and to this day I still cry when I remember him, but I always put on a smile because my father always wanted to see me happy and would make jokes so that everyone around him would laugh and be happy, so I have to do it for him. For anyone who feels they need to wear armour or a mask just to survive each day, for different reasons and in different forms. You may be a dark angel, but I feel this realistically refers to how you feel rather than what's in your heart!! Because your compassion, love and protective qualities show all the time and are so beautiful. its hard to be wrapped in darkness and have to learn to live there, but you are strong.
