@sarrahstrimelbentley: My baby helped me find my voice again✨ When I was performing on Broadway, I was considered a “dancer who sings and is a great understudy for the leading role”. I allowed that to define me, wondering why people just saw me and didn’t hear me. I stayed small and in my lane and didn’t grow. Fast forward a decade later to becoming a mama after a breast cancer and surrogacy journey. I started singing again for my baby as lullaby’s, and then took it to the stage. Am I the best singer up there? Nope! Do I miss a note here and there? Yep! But I found my authentic, embodied voice through motherhood. Unapologetic and free. Exactly how I want to raise my little boy. Thank you to @wegotthisorg for having me. Please follow and support this incredible organization that provides support for cancer patients by creating a registry, just like you would for a wedding or baby shower. Things they need when they need them most🙏🏻🩷 #broadwaybaby #singyourheartout #joymining #mychance #sarrahstrimelbentley
