wrong. Jesus is coming back, they will have a choice in the valley of decision even Jesus says, in John 6:40 "... every one that seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up..." they will see Him and will have to choose. that's why it's called the valley of decision.

Dr. Craig, I think some clarification of your view may be needed. Are you saying that people, living after Christ's resurrection, can be saved apart from knowledge of Christ (if so, what recognition of general revelation provides that)? Or, perhaps, are you saying that the severity of the unsaved's judgment will be based on the level of revelation? Or is there something else that you are saying altogether to make your view consistent with Scripture?

The gentleman is dead wrong. The person who has not heard of Jesus, is not lost because he hasn’t heard about Christ. He is lost because he’s a sinner. If he’s not lost prior to him hearing about Jesus, then the worst thing we can do for that person is bring the gospel to him! Just leave him in his ignorance! Why even do mission work? The Great Commission unequivocally affirms that all are lost ( Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-16). Furthermore, the Bible emphatically settles the issue in 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9. There are two groups of people mentioned in these passages. Read the verses carefully. “Those who know not God and those who obey not the gospel of Christ.” Both groups will be lost, “suffering everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord.”
