@joannebourne12: These are the times when it’s difficult. I’ve currently got my forearm taped up because it’s painful and Harry just can’t cope. He’s very frustrated. Changes in appearance or routine can feel really overwhelming for him. My arm strap changes how I normally look and that can make him anxious or distressed. It’s not bad behaviour — it’s his way of processing unexpected change and trying to feel safe. He has managed to get one strip off and I’ve no idea how long the rest will stay but I am trying to discourage him 💙#princeharryhasautism #FYP #change #understanding #autismawareness
