Everyone saying to sue, THEY ALREADY HAVE. They sued in small claims court and bricks and minifigs still hasn’t given any of it back, and if they sue in actual court, the owner of b&m has said on a recorded phone call, that if they try to sue, he’s going to drain them for more than the legos are worth just in court costs

I always tell people, never go to Bricks and Minifigs. they under pay for buying old and used sets, and then they way overcharge on resale. they also don't check the quality of what they're reselling, so they will sometimes be asking a crazy amount for an insanely damaged minifigure. they even jack up the price on current sets and minifigures that you can find in other stores. and they sell used sets pre-built and will charge extra to disassemble said sets

Bricks and Minifigs makes (roughly) $579,852 per franchise location. Just the beginning of this year, they opened their 300th store. There's probably more than 300 by now, but I'm just gonna give a rough estimate. $579,852 x 300 is $173,955,600. This means they make roughly $173,955,600 a year. Why would they need a Star Wars LEGO collection of 200k if they make over 100M a year? I believe that since it's the biggest in the world, they just want the world record.

This is one of the few times where I think I've actually seen someone with ground to sue over breach of contract because the court will give him his property back if it's in the contract saying that it's still his property until sold

Ex police here. The police aren’t “in on the scam.” It’s a civil matter with a contract. That is beyond the scope of a police officer. Police deal with blatant criminal matters. They had him trespassed and he was trespassing. That is what they were there for. Also if he took them to small claims court and he won he has legal basis to sue them.
