Toshio Matsumoto!!! Atman was such an incredible experience the first time I saw it. Not experimental in the same way, but his films ‘Demons’ and ‘Funeral Parade of Roses’ (English titles) are also fantastic and if you like his short films you’ll likely also enjoy those!
