Chipotle’s steak at home, but it tastes even better🙌🏾 Same flavor, way cheaper, and easy to meal prep. Make this and you might never go back there😭 Chipotle Steak Recipe Marinade • 1 can chipotle peppers in adobo • 2 tsp garlic powder • 2 tsp ground cumin • 2 tsp dried oregano • Black pepper to taste • 170 ml water Blend until smooth. Steak • Lean steak of choice (I used New York strip) Place steak in a bag or container and pour in enough marinade to coat. Store extra marinade in the fridge if needed. Marinate at least 1 hour (longer = more flavor👏🏾). Cooking • Preheat pan to medium-high heat • Spray with avocado oil or another high smoke-point oil • Remove steak from marinade and shake off excess • Lay steak in the pan and immediately sprinkle kosher salt on top • Sear about 90 seconds per side, or cook to desired doneness Remove, cube the steak, and it’s ready.
