But on a 3 phase the neutral carries the vector sum of all three phases. If all phases are equal in current then the vector sum would be 0. But, if Phase A = 20 A < 0°
Phase B = 15 A <-120°
Phase C = 10 A <+120°
The neutral current would be about 8.7A. I can’t really write the equation here so I’m not going to try. But you’re welcome to check my math.

I took the electric element out of my oven because it was in the way cleaning. It was completely off. But while unplugging it I felt a zap. What was likely going on there? Guessing there was an imbalance related to the interior oven light being on?
