i think there are rules that writers have to follow when writing a spiderman adaptation you can look them up like peter has things he can and can't do and spiderman has things too as well as the symbiote lie separately they don't follow the same rules and I think they made him not a peter parker just to make him do violent things I'm not sure if that's the case but yeah it can be
