I get an episode every 4-6 months… I’m really active. No idea why I get them. Usually when I’m drinking

Just diagnosed with atriul flutter which is closely related to afib and luckily near a hospital so ecg caught it , now booked in for ablation, afib appears to be very common whereas flutter appears to be a lot less common?

What are your thoughts on occasional skipped heartbeats during exercise? My 22-year-old daughter has been on Accutane, and I’m wondering if that could be contributing. She was on 60 mg/day, which seemed a bit high for her weight (103 lbs), so her dermatologist recently lowered the dose. The symptoms seem to happen mostly with exercise. She did see the student health doctor at college, but they couldn’t capture anything since it’s sporadic. He said it was okay for her to travel and just follow up in a few weeks. She’s planning to see a cardiologist after her graduation trip

Ablation 6 years ago and was good until I thought I could consume alcohol and marijuana again. Gave me palpitations so I quit both and I’m fine now. Just listen to your doctors, unlike me. Ablation is painless for those wondering. At least mine was.

I started having Afib following a laminectomy. Been on Eliquis for 5yrs, had cardio version, later had ablation. This year my cardiologist suggested a Watchman device, what's your thoughts?
