At the Battle of the Redgrass Field, events unfolded differently. Warned of Bloodraven’s hidden archers through Shiera’s network of spies, Daemon avoided the fatal charge that had doomed him in true history. The battle remained fierce, but Daemon survived. With neither side able to secure a decisive victory, negotiations followed. The realm stood on the brink of destruction, and both Daemon and Daeron understood that continued war would shatter the Seven Kingdoms. A compromise was reached: Daemon abandoned his claim to the Iron Throne in exchange for vast privileges, lands, and recognition for House Blackfyre. The Blackfyre Rebellions never occurred. Bittersteel departed for Essos in bitterness and exile, while Bloodraven remained at court, forever suspicious of his sister’s influence. Yet even he could not deny that Shiera had prevented a century of bloodshed.
