@firehousetraining: Not every fire can be attacked from the front door. Sometimes the best tactic is getting water exactly where it needs to go from below, around, or underneath the problem. 💥🔥 During our recent Industrial Firefighting Training Program in Eastern Ontario, we had to have a little fun on a hot day while showcasing some of the major advantages of the Bresnan “Cellar” Nozzle… and staying cool at the same time too 😂💦 We spent time putting this specialty nozzle through various evolutions and demonstrating how effective it can be for basement fires, concealed spaces, balcony fires, low-grade industrial fire pits, and even cooling operations underneath electric vehicle fires experiencing lithium-ion thermal runaway conditions. One of the biggest advantages? ZERO nozzle reaction while flowing water through an unstaffed hose line. That means firefighters can maintain excellent control while placing the nozzle into hard-to-reach spaces where traditional hose streams may not be effective or safe. These specialty nozzles continue to prove their value for industrial firefighting, defensive operations, confined fire areas, and unique fireground challenges where creativity and adaptability matter.
