Unpopular opinion, I don’t see anything wrong with your kids seeing you as a friend. As long as boundaries are set and it doesn’t cross into disrespect, by all means. My girls share their “tea” and we joke around but at the end of the day they still realize I’m the parent and respect me bc I treat them like people not like I’m better just bc I’m the adult. If that makes sense
