This is so helpful! I cannot agree more. When I first went to church as a 21 yo my first connection was the asst pastor. That connection made for years of discipleship and learning to hear God on my own.

This indeed is True and systems lay the foundation of any organisation.I fully support yr vision sir..Relationship before Discipleship..Some leaders are all about preaching and protecting the Pulpit and relationship is with the Holy Ghost and that’s where it ends..So I trust uwill be having that talk on how to navigate from there..God bless u and yr family..🙏What’s yr books name..?

Great wisdom man of God. I struggled for over 35 years trying to grow up the church both spiritually and numerically with no success. Until revealed to me the missing link and this is exactly what you are talking about. When I embarked on this journey of putting structures where every believer is feels at home or belonging, I totally see the transformation the life of Christ impacting the members.
