Impossible to get a movie proper. Simple reason; it’s a legal nightmare and it can’t make any profit. Not only would it be a massive pain to get the rights to use those SCPs from each individual respective creator(s), but you’d also need to deal with SCP itself having its own non-profit copyright protection. Fan movies like the 096 one are peak, and they work because they’re fan made. But for a company to do it would be a complete mess and a massive issue to deal with (don’t get me wrong I would dump life savings into a movie for SCP, but it’s impossible for it to get into theaters)

yeah but just like the backrooms. the scp movie would have to be what it was without the wiki cause the wiki and Fandom lowkey ruined both. Kane Pixels Adaption is the original so we have to go to original Adaption of SCP cause now most SCP's are just litterly unkillable demi gods and scp isnt supposed to be powerful it was meant to be scary.

big studios won't make an SCP film due to the creative commons license used by everything SCP related. small studios can and are trying, such as the upcoming projects for the Gallionic anime and the Keter Labs IRL movie

it will never happen because the amount of budget they need dude, it won't ever become a series at first and it won't even become a movie also because how HUGE the world building is, and if we did do series the budget would be out of hand which I don't know how they're going to figure out with all alone

An SCP movie isn’t possible at all since there is no centered piece of film/narrative unless another person like Kane Pixels makes an SCP seriess but then again there is too much varied continuities such as there being too many argued SCP-001s and what not. It would be to difficult to make a movie that wouldn’t get backlash unless it deals with one simple SCP like 3008.
