in my family, accepting my curls was really hard. my mother and family always believed that curly hair doesn't exist. she always brushed my hair and put it in braids, when I became a preteen she'd make me straighten it. whenever I left it curly she'd make fun of it, with dad. especially dad, he'd tell me I look like a ghoul , literally to my face. I got judged so hard by my family for keeping my curls, the curls that God has gifted me. and now I can't help but fall in love with them , because wdym my hair just does that. I hope every curly haired girlie falls in love with her curls.
