i do think the parry sorta dominates the combat, and it was frustrating to have to constantly do picto management (which i found really tedious) when just learning the parry timings secures a win either way. still fun tho like come on parrying is awesome.

Never really got into ff and other turn based games because they where a bit too passive for my brain to stay focused. The parrying in e33 keeps me engaged and it's genuine fun to master the harder attacks. I really hope more games add similar mechanics
