Back in 2012 we used to fly empty A380 to Bordeaux for repairs in wing cracks. On one of those flights we had engineers from Boeing hanging microphones and sensors inside in cabin, monitoring both upper and main deck. They were taking down wall panels and fuselage wall layers, to measure noise. As engineers explained to me, complain was that standard 777 is too loud and a380 is contrary too quiet, so they had to find exact level of insulation to bring 777x to acceptable noise levels inside in cabin.

It’s only about 5-10 db’s quiter than the a350 which is nothing, yet it’s less fuel efficient due to its weight and has much less range, so Boeing really haven’t done a great job with this one, oh and it’s significantly more expensive

i think inside the cabin it will not beat an A350. The fuselage of the T7x is basically from the 90s.
