I lost both my parents in April & they had a big friendship group & was so close . I have had one person check in on me since the funeral. I was my parents carer & only daughter in the uk & was alone to when my mum took her last breath !

First it was my mom’s side of the family, now my dad’s side is doing it. After they pass they just never reach out anymore. I feel like I have no one, no one cares enough to ask how my son is or how I am. It hurts 😞

losing both of mine with dementia taught me the biggest lesson . I was there for them 24/7 as soon as all my family and theirs heard the news , they just dissappeard. 🥺🥺🥺

So true. Till now, only two person checkup on me. and both are not of my own family and friends. Close and best friend, gone. Mum and sister treat me like a leper. i miss my dad and today is day 106 since his passing.
