He also played on fields much larger and in seasons with less games. Everything evens out. And for the people who say he would suck today, he wouldn’t if he was born in 2000 like the rest of the great young players.

he hit a lot more 450 outs and 480 foot doubles than he did bouncing home runs also a rule from then that changed around the same didn't allow walk off home runs IF the winning run scored before you so if you were down 1 with runners on 1st and 2nd and hit a home run the game was ruled officially over when the guy on 1st touched home plate and you were credited with a triple
